Dickinson's Witch Hazel Oil Control Towelettes

I have a wedding coming up, April 27th to be exact, and I've been really reluctant to try any new products. I feel like the last thing I need is some kind of full frontal face explosion to worry about a few days before my wedding. I did a lot of research and saw a lot of positive reviews on the Dickinson's Witch Hazel Oil Control Towelettes. The biggest complaint I seemed to see had more to do with the price than the product. I actually find the price to be quite reasonable. If you're at Walgreens you can get a box of 20 for $7.79 (but the website saves you $3.30 so you can get 20 for $4.49.) If you pop over to Amazon.com you can get the same box of 20 for $8.13 or do a combo of the towelettes and the toner for $16.23. Price is all about how you shop. I personally think it's a good price because the product works.

I have combination skin and these have really helped to keep my skin clean throughout the day. It's so convenient to slip a packet into my purse or my clutch and I have it when I need it. They are so gentle and leave me feeling extremely refreshed. My only complaint is, is that the smell isn't a favorite of mine. I think I may be witch hazel intolerant, BUT the product is so amazing that I don't care!

This definitely isn't your grandmother's witch hazel! I'd highly recommend this product to anyone looking for more radiant skin. People are going to notice and comment on how great your complexion is, and want to know what you have been using!

Colgate Optic White Review

I wouldn't exactly call myself a toothpaste snob, but I'm definitely funny about what goes into my mouth (no pun intended.) Previously we were using Crest 3D White toothpaste. Right on the tube it says, "Whitens: Can remove up to 80% of surface stains in 14 days." Who isn't going to jump on that? Sadly, we are nearly finished with the 2 tubes (buy in bulk, right?) and neither of us (my fiance or myself) have noticed any differences. Maybe we were looking too hard or maybe we weren't looking hard enough, but nothing too exciting going on for us.
Before receiving the Colgate Optic White Collection from Influenster, we were already the proud owners of the Colgate 360 Optic White Toothbrush. A fantastic little device. It has polishing bristles that polish away the surface stains and a tongue and cheek cleaner on the backside, which comfortably helps remove that odor causing bacteria. We have nothing but awesome things to say about that tooth brush. We both purchased the "soft" bristles, because it's our preference, and it's a very comfortable tooth brush.

When a product says anything about noticeable results in a week, I tend to roll my eyes. Nothing works in a week. But that is what this toothpaste claims and it was a claim I was willing to refute. I started using this toothbrush on a Saturday and by the next Friday I could see a big difference. A "hey, look at those teeth" difference. I couldn't deny it, I couldn't find fault, it really works. The mouthwash doesn't have the most pleasant taste, but I've become a firm believer that if the mouthwash tastes good, it's probably not doing good (so I can live with the not so awesome taste.)

I'm not sure if it's because I've been using the whole collection together or what, but Colgate has really put together an awesome trio here!

The Day Designer | Designed by Whitney English

Since before I even started my business, I knew I needed a way to organize myself. I am famous for having sticky notes covering my computer screen, on the wall, on the printer, on my mouse, just anywhere. It isn't organized but I've learned to live through the chaos and to decode it. I'll have 16 notebooks scattered with ideas, to-do lists, marketing strategies, and my client information. Again, it's not ideal, no one else in the world could make sense of it, but I made it work. You quickly learn that in business, you need order to be efficient. My biggest problem was, I could not find a way to bring complete order to my business. I bought Moleskine planners, I looked into fancy, pretty planners that lacked functionality (but boy, were they pretty and popular), and I even looked into designing a planner myself. Nothing worked. I ended up with a super cheap planner that I basically altered to fit my needs (and it was 5 times thicker due to my sticky notes.)

and then Instagram brought a wonderful thing into my life. I ran across Whitney English and saw this amazing creation called a Day Designer. A planner that claims to be both functional and focused for a creative mind...too good to be true! I'm a firm believer that the best way to judge something is to see what other people have to say about it. I went straight to the #daydesigner hashtag on Instagram. The reviews were pretty unanimous. This thing was all it was cracked up to be and then some. It had to be my lucky day. IT WAS MY LUCKY DAY. It just so happened they were releasing a limited edition Pink & White planner. I jumped on it fast, and I'm glad I did because they went equally fast.

I was almost scared to open it. I did not want to be disappointed. The first few pages are amazing. You have a personal note from Whitney, a page on how to use your planner (effectively), and then you have 8 pages on putting together basically your master business plan and bringing it to life. The planner itself is unbelievably functional. You also get to enjoy motivational quotes along the way. One of my absolute favorite features of this planner is having a "Today's Top 3" where you get to remind yourself that these are the most important things to do on this day. No need to make a sticky note for that detail. It's right there, at a glance, all pretty and perfect.

I've already raved about my Day Designer to countless friends, who I hope to have converted, and now I had to rave to my clients and fans about it. It really is worth every penny.
